Unused pitch frames for USA’s Treadstone
Having created super-spy Jason Bourne, the Treadstone project turns its attention to a new protocol to develop unstoppable superhuman assassins. The show explores the idea of sleeper agents who suddenly start to wake up without any memory of their CIA training.
The goal was to blend my own interpretation of redacted documents with human elements. In these frames, sensitive information is obscured with a corrosive effect as if an acid were dripped onto photographs, stripping them of color and detail. The typography is treated in the same way by smearing and dissolving the ink, rendering the text indecipherable.
